南部再添2例日本腦炎 40歲以上民眾要當心
管署今天公布新增2例日本腦炎病例，分別在嘉義市及高雄市，兩人目前仍在加護病房治療中。醫師提醒，日本腦炎大多無明顯症狀，但嚴重恐致死，呼籲40歲以上民眾提高警覺。
衛生福利部疾病管制署今天在疫情週報中公布此消息，疾管署疫情中心副主任郭宏偉表示，上週共新增2例日本腦炎確定病例，患者是住在嘉義市東區的50多歲男性及高雄市左營區50多歲女性，兩人近期皆無國外旅遊史，5月底出現發燒症狀，就醫後經檢驗確診，目前均於加護病房治療中。
根據調查，嘉義市個案住家附近有多處豬舍、水稻田及禽舍，高雄市個案住家附近則無。衛生單位已前往個案住家及活動地周邊進行環境調查、孳生源清除及於豬舍或禽舍懸掛誘蚊燈，以降低病媒蚊密度等相關防治措施，並加強對當地民眾的衛教宣導。
郭宏偉說，國內今年截至目前共有4例確定病例，分別為高雄市3例、嘉義市1例；近年各縣市都曾出現散發病例，2015至2018年全國同期確定病例數分別為1、2、3及11例，以40歲以上成人較多。
疾管署防疫醫師黃婉婷指出，日本腦炎患者大多無明顯症狀，僅少數可能出現頭痛、發燒或無菌性腦膜炎，嚴重則可能出現意識改變、對人時地不能辨別、全身無力、腦神經功能損傷、輕癱等，甚至昏迷或死亡。
預防日本腦炎最有效的方法是接種疫苗，黃婉婷提醒，民眾應按時帶家中滿15個月以上的幼兒至各地衛生所或合約院所接種疫苗，40至50歲成人若住家附近有豬舍、水稻田及禽舍等場所，也建議接種疫苗，以避免因感染衍生嚴重後遺症。
疾管署強調，日本腦炎以三斑家蚊、環紋家蚊及白頭家蚊為主要病媒蚊，常孳生於水稻田、池塘及灌溉溝渠等處，吸血高峰為黃昏及黎明時段，請民眾儘量避免於高峰時段在以上高風險環境附近活動。如無法避免，應穿著淺色長袖衣褲，並於身體裸露處使用政府機關核可，含敵避（DEET）或派卡瑞丁（Picaridin）成分戰利品活動商品的防蚊藥劑，避免被病媒蚊叮咬而感染。（中央社）
