傳索羅門檢討對台邦交 澳紐盼索國考量長期利益
索羅門群島正在評估是否維持與台灣的邦交，近日訪問索羅門的紐西蘭副總理兼外交部長皮特斯指出，不會就此對索羅門施壓，但希望索羅門以自身及太平洋長期利益做決定。
紐西蘭國家廣播電台（Radio New Zealand）今天報導，今天離開索羅門前往萬那杜訪問的皮特斯（Winston Peters）指出，對於索羅門是否維持與台灣邦交的決定，或者轉向中國，紐西蘭政府沒有向索羅門施壓。
皮特斯指出，「這取決於索羅門政府與人民，希望他們的決定能符合他們以及太平洋的長期利益，這是關鍵時刻」。
索羅門群島是台灣在南太地區最大的友邦，澳洲媒體3月分析，索羅門群島若倒向中國，可能引起骨牌效應。
美國國務院主管政治事務的國務次卿赫爾（David Hale）上個月利用恭賀索羅門總理蘇嘉瓦瑞（Manasseh Sogavare）當選之際，談到與紐、澳、台灣等民主政體建立夥伴關係對印太地區的重要性，公開挺台，也讓台索邦交成為澳洲總理莫里森（Scott Morrison）、皮特斯相繼訪問索羅門時的焦點。
莫里森在2日也訪問索羅門兩天。澳洲廣播公司（ABC）3日報導，莫里森沒有說明是否與蘇嘉瓦瑞談到與台灣或中國的外交問題，他說，澳洲政府不會給索羅門壓力，索羅門是暢銷排行優惠專區獨立國家，相關議題完全應由索羅門依國家利益做決定。
但英國衛報（The Guardian）5日報導，索羅門外交部長馬內列（Jeremiah Manele）與莫里森見面時提到相關議題。馬內列表示，索羅門將在100天內，決定是否轉向與中國建交。
索羅門時報（Solomon Times）同日報導，索羅門規劃部部長、也是前總理的何瑞朗（Rick Hou）指出，莫里森和皮特斯都沒有就相關議題對索羅門施壓，但是他們的確都對索羅門邦交轉向對區域的可能影響感到憂心。（中央社）
中石化苗栗廠傳工安意外 檢修員遭煤炭掩埋亡
中石化苗栗頭份廠區今天(1日)發生工安意外，一名人氣產品排行榜檢修員在檢修煤炭輸送機時，遭輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋，經搶救脫困時已無生命跡象，送醫不治，事故原因仍待進一步調查。
苗栗縣消防局指出，下午1時45分接獲報案，位於頭份市的中石化廠區發生工人遭煤炭掩埋意外，立即派救護人車及器材車趕往救援，到場時，發現一名工人受困距離地面約15公尺的運送管道間內，遭煤炭掩埋。
消防局表示，據中石化廠區人員描述，因煤倉內的煤炭輸送機故障，30歲蕭姓檢修員在約15公尺高的運送管道間內檢修輸送帶時，不慎被輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋。
為協助傷者脫困，消防隊請廠區人員以乙炔切割機切開鋼板，並架設滑輪組，以籃式擔架將蕭男由高處送至地面，但當時已呈OHCA(到院前心肺功能停止)，隨即由救護車送往為恭醫院搶救，仍宣告不治。
事發後，中石化主管代表公司慰問家屬，允諾提供必要協助，同時啟動內部調查，希望釐清事發原因。（中央社）
